Prepare to attend
Before attending, check that your status is Going and review the event page again. A calendar entry or an old invitation may not reflect the latest details.
Check the time and place
Confirm the date, time and timezone shown, especially when travelling or attending remotely. An event can be in person, online or hybrid. For a hybrid event, check which details apply to the way you will attend.
If the organizer has hidden the venue address or online joining link, you can see it once your response is Going. The organizer can also see it. Additional venue and online notes are always reserved for Going participants and the organizer. Being a group member or on the waitlist is not enough to see these details.
If information appears hidden, check your response and the email address you are using before requesting help. Do not forward restricted location details or personal access links without permission.
Understand the attendee list
The attendee list shows the names of people recorded as Going. When the organizer allows guests to view it, it is available to guests who are Going, Not going, Awaiting reply or Waitlisted. An Awaiting approval request does not grant this access. Authorized event managers have separate access for managing the event.
Seeing the attendee list does not reveal a hidden venue address, joining link or notes. Those details remain restricted even when you can see who is going.
Use calendar and group options
When offered, you can add the event to Google Calendar or download a calendar file for a compatible calendar app. Check the imported timezone and details. A downloaded entry may not stay up to date. Revisit BenOui! if the organizer changes the schedule or cancels the event. Calendar links and entries can contain personal access information, so avoid sharing them publicly.
A group event may also offer a way to join its group. Joining the group and attending this event are separate choices; follow the group’s own admission conditions.
