Communicate with participants
Send a message when participants need information about the event. Check the message history first to avoid repeating an announcement. BenOui! also sends automatic notices for some response and schedule changes.
Write to confirmed participants
As an organizer, you can send a plain-text message to the guests currently marked Going. You cannot use this message to contact any person you choose or to start a private chat. Review the text and recipient count before sending. If the audience changes before you confirm, BenOui! may ask you to review it again.
People who become Going after you send are not automatically added to that earlier message. Keep essential instructions on the event page as well, so newcomers can find them. Write in a language your audience understands. The rest of the email can follow the recipient’s language, but BenOui! does not translate your message.
You can send organizer messages for a published event before and during it, and for seven calendar days after it ends, using the event’s timezone. You cannot send them for a draft, cancelled or archived event. A message may not go to a guest who has blocked you or the group, or who no longer meets the conditions for receiving it.
Automatic notices and organizer alerts
Some participation changes and schedule changes generate notices. They do not replace reviewing your event page or confirming that a specific person has received important information. Saving a change and sending its email are separate outcomes.
Personal events and group events do not have identical organizer alerts. Personal events offer RSVP-change and event-full alert options. Group alerts use the group’s designated team recipients and include supported join requests, attendance requests and event-full alerts; group events do not send RSVP-change or withdrawal alerts.
Read the history carefully
The history shows recorded messages and schedule notices. Where available, it lists recipients already sent a message and the number still awaiting a send. “Sent” is not proof of human receipt or reading. An unknown or pending result does not confirm delivery. A person’s absence from a recipient list does not mean their participation change failed.
