Invitations and access

An invitation gives you a way to find an event and respond. It does not necessarily mean that you have accepted or that a place is reserved. Check your current status on the event page.

Use the access intended for you

Open your own invitation or personal link. If BenOui! asks you to verify your email address or sign in, use the address that received the invitation. If you already have an account, sign in to it.

When the event offers it, verifying your email address is enough to respond. You do not need to create a password.

Your personal link is specific to you. Do not forward it, publish it, or send a verification code to another person. To tell someone about an event, use its ordinary event page when sharing is appropriate. They must obtain their own access and meet the participation conditions.

Understand restricted access

An invitation can let you view a private event. If you are an active member of a private group, you can also view its published or cancelled events, unless you have been removed from that event. You still need to respond to attend, and some details may stay hidden until your place is confirmed.

You may no longer be able to open an event after it is archived or after you lose access to it.

If access does not work

Check which email address you are using and open the most recent valid link. If BenOui! says you are signed in as someone else, switch to your own account before continuing. Avoid requesting codes repeatedly or trying someone else’s link.

Next: Register and respond or prepare to attend.
